Title: Positive Disruption in Enterprise Collections

The age old problem of collecting on charged-off accounts has challenges. Enterprises are concerned with reputational impact, and end consumers are put under financial and possibly emotional stress by having to pay a significant amount of cash all at once. There has to be a better way. Some recent industry disruptions have explored some innovative methods to solve this problem, where a unique risk model specialized at adjudicating on deep subprime consumers can help alleviate the friction. When some people think the buzz word “fintech” is just a fad, Progressa has benefited from using advanced technology to facilitate credit adjudication, fast scaling, and easy connection with diverse partners. In this session, Progressa will share some interesting learnings about the company’s evolution in risk management and technology development, particularly:

  • What are the major differences between prime credit modelling and non-prime credit modelling?
  • What are some of the ways to automate a process that is historically high human-touch?
  • Where else could these innovative solutions be used?
  • How can a focus on NPS help protect brand awareness and allow for potential customer reacquisition?
